Celebrating 80 years of success and poised for future growth, EECO is searching for a dynamic, qualified professional to become an Outside Salesperson, reporting to the Charleston South Carolina Division Sales Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing all functions relating to developing our customer relationships in this market, including but not limited to the following: providing estimates and quotations as required by customers and prospects on specific jobs; vigorously follow transactions to their conclusion; develop new customer relationships within the market; work with Inside Sales Staff to service customer needs; assist the Credit department by furnishing credit information and project summary sheets. The position requires 5+ years in outside sales (preferably in the electrical products distribution market), and also requires Microsoft Office skills, detail orientation, time management skills and the ability to learn our internal business system (Trend) and that of the primary manufacturers we support. Self-motivation and detail orientation, resourcefulness and problem-solving talents, superior communication skills and professional manner are necessary job components.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with one to two years experience, who is a self-starter, able to prioritize, has the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment and solve complex problems that will ultimately allow us to exceed our customer expectations. Applicants should have inside sales experience and be well organized, with a strong attention to detail. Microsoft Word, Excel, order entry experience and some industrial experience is preferred.
